A reflection of Gratitude for 2017-2018 and a transition into 2018-2019 in celebration of the Rotary Club of Plymouth's 40 Year Anniversary serving people and the planet locally and globally.......
As we transition our Rotary Fiscal Year from June 30th to July 1st, we recognize all Rotarians in the Plymouth Club for their amazing service and commitment to sharing Love in all the ways it can be of service to those who come into our path to be served. Whether you serve on a board, a committee, and/or a contributing member, your service is honored and recognized!

Over the last 12 months we have trained over 1,000 people on how to recognize & respond to the signs of sudden cardiac of someone in need. Bringing our club total to 5,187 trained towards our mission of 7,000 trained. We thank our Heart Safe Team who dedicates their service weekly to this project and the City of Plymouth for their staff and departmental support.

We have successfully managed two Fundraisers being the Score Points for Kids, Education, Community Health (Fall) and our Brewfest with local brewers (Winter). These two events raised a combined total of $26,063.00, which goes back into the community in magnificent ways serving life around us. Examples of this service include Heart Safe Trainings as referenced above, hosting a youth exchange student from Argentina, sponsoring outbound youth exchange students from Wayzata High School, putting on a youth ice fishing contest during Fire & Ice for kids 13 and under, awarding Scholarships in the amount of $6,000 to local Plymouth High School Students, sponsoring a student to Camp Enterprise, supporting service projects of other local Rotary clubs, planting 40 trees with the City of Plymouth supporting Rotary’s International goal of one tree per 1.2 million Rotarians globally, and grants awarded in the amount of $12,175.

Along the way we have celebrated social events such as a club holiday party, a year-end party lakeside on Minnetonka, rugby watching at Brits Pub, golf event, and a painting party.

Special Thanks To Our Clubs Partners From This Year. Without you our service would not be possible and/or impactful to the degree it has been with your partnership and leadership: Wayzata High Schools, Y.E.S. Students of Wayzata High School, City of Plymouth/Fire/Public Safety/Event Coordinators/City Forester/Parks Department, North Star Youth Exchange, Rotary International and District 5950, Area 12 Rotary Clubs, Sun Sailor News and Kristen Miller, all corporate sponsors of our Fundraisers and individual contributors, families of Rotary members and businesses sponsoring their Rotarians in our club.
