     At our Club Assembly this week we will review the slate of leadership and vote to accept or amend it.
     We still need someone to volunteer for the positions of club Secretary and Scholarships Chair.
     Then we will review the Constitution and Bylaws as well as the Schedule of Charges.
     Presumably the board will have approved these in the morning Board Meeting.
     If you have any comments or issues please let a board member know so it can be resolved in advance if possible
     Please be sure to be in attendance.
Here are our upcoming speakers: Please get your friends interested and involved.

Please remember that it is each club member's duty to bring a speaker or two each year. We are now dividing into quarterly teams for this purpose. More information will be distributed soon. We also will be requiring a volunteer for Club Secretary to manage the bulletins and the speakers when our new administration begins.
Do you, or someone you know, ever find yourself thinking: "Gee I wish I could give a scholarship to deserving High School students, but I want to make the gift out of funds or in such a way that I need a 501 (c) 3 type foundation to do it and sustain it?"

If that is you, please think of the Rotary Club of Plymouth MN in that moment!

This is a great way to assure high quality students get the education to make the world a better place into the future. You can fund it once or you could set up an annuity in your estate plan to fund it for an extended period of time, even indefinitely, if that is what you plan to give. Talk to one of our attorneys and one of our investment advisors, or your own professionals, if you need more information. You will not regret it and the world will be better for it.
We now have invitation cards for our members to invite friends and colleagues to come and hear our great speakers. Please grab a couple, fill them out and give them to your friends, relatives and colleagues. This will be a lot less work, a lot more fun and a lot better for Plymouth if we have a lot more members. We must all do our part now in recruiting.
WHAT IS ROTARY ABOUT?
THE OBJECT OF ROTARY
The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
First The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
Second High ethical standards in business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
Third The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;
Fourth The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.

ROTARIAN CODE Of CONDUCT

The following code of conduct has been adopted for the use of Rotarians:

As a Rotarian,

1. I will act with integrity and high ethical standards in my personal and professional life.

2. Deal fairly with others and treat them and their occupations with respect.

3. Use my professional skills through Rotary to: mentor young people, help those with special needs, and improve people's quality of life in my community and in the world.

4. Avoid behavior that reflects adversely on Rotary or other Rotarians.

5. Help maintain a harassment-free environment in Rotary meetings, events, and activities, report any suspected harassment, and help ensure non-retaliation to those individuals that report harassment.

THE FOUR-WAY TEST
Of the things we think, say, or do:
1. Is it the truth?
2. Is it fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

There is a Rotary Club in nearly every city in the world. We are united for philanthropy. Ask someone to join us.
