Thank you to Steve Beachler, Carol Parrish and Jim Crenna for hosting the Fireside Chat with me on Saturday in Plymouth! New Rotarians in attendance learned about our Club's history and how we operate.
BOARD POSITIONS: Glen Norton has accepted the nomination for Co-President and Jill Kohler has accepted the nomination as Secretary for the upcoming year. There are other board positions open. Please contact me to review options.
BREWFEST 2021: We are working on an alternative to our Spring Brewfest - Stay Tuned! Brewfest benefits the Heart Safe program in raising funds to conduct CPR/AED training and purchase AED equipment. All ideas are welcome. Simply email or call and we can share with the club.
SCHOLARSHIPS: Thank you to Liz Erstad-Hicks and Al Cornish for helping to review scholarship applications next month. Students at area schools have until March 6th to apply. Information is at the schools, posted on our website and on Facebook. You can help Meena, Virginia, Liz and Al in reviewing applications in March. Email me to assist.
Quarterly dues have been emailed. Please review and submit as instructed. If you have questions, please let me know.
We have openings for Guest Speaker on April 1st and April 15th. Please contact me to arrange.
Plymouth Heart Safe CPR/AED has training this evening. COVID guidelines are followed to screen and protect participants. Sessions are limited to 15 individuals. Thank you for being a part of Plymouth Rotary!
President Mary Christensen
From our club's Rotary Foundation:
We have a total of $4,020 raised YTD against a goal of $7,000. We are averaging $103/Member YTD, we slipped behind the District average for the first time since I’ve been involved in the Foundation, the District average YTD is $117/Member.
We have received a total of 10 donations (including a cash donation of $100, which I will give to Jim Crenna to try and convert to a check (we have no way to deal with cash). This means we still need to hear from 27 of you, hopefully with a donation.
If you do not plan to donate, please let Henry and I know, it will help us track what we need for m the other Members who will be donating by the FYE 06/30/2021.
Thank you all for your contributions and your efforts towards our goal of a donation from everyone of our Club Members.
We are looking for a volunteer to co-chair responsibilities with Henry starting July 1st.
Take care and be safe.
