Please remember that it is each club member's duty to bring a speaker or two each year. We are now dividing into quarterly teams for this purpose. More information will be distributed soon. We also will be requiring a volunteer for Club Secretary to manage the bulletins and the speakers when our new administration begins.
At the upcoming Club Assembly on 6/22/23 we will resolve important issues for the club, like who our new leadership will be, and maybe balance the budget for the year on fines to those who are absent. Other faaaabulous ideas anyone may bring could also be debated.
Would you like to look really cool??
Order your ROTARY GEAR, a shirt, hat and/or windbreaker now! We have order forms at the meeting. Glen can e-mail one to you if you need it. If you already have a Rotary shirt, you can use that one as sleepwear so you still may need to buy a new one. I doubt your family will mind, and the neighbors won't talk about it. These shirts and hats are also good poolside or on the golf course. You may be glad for the windbreaker at the parade. Ask your mom if you need to. Wearing Rotary gear to bed is not currently grounds for divorce in Minnesota or excommunication from the church.
Get in gear!
Do you, or someone you know, ever find yourself thinking: "Gee I wish I could give a scholarship to deserving High School students, but I want to make the gift out of funds or in such a way that I need a 501 (c) 3 type foundation to do it and sustain it?"

If that is you, please think of the Rotary Club of Plymouth MN in that moment!
This is a great way to assure high quality students get the education to make the world a better place into the future. You can fund it once or you could set up an annuity in your estate plan to fund it for an extended period of time, even indefinitely, if that is what you plan to give. Talk to one of our attorneys and one of our investment advisors, or your own professionals, if you need more information. You will not regret it and the world will be better for it.
We now have invitation cards for our members to invite friends and colleagues to come and hear our great speakers. Please grab a couple, fill them out and give them to your friends, relatives and colleagues. This will be a lot less work, a lot more fun and a lot better for Plymouth if we have a lot more members. We must all do our part now in recruiting.
WHAT IS ROTARY ABOUT?
THE OBJECT OF ROTARY
The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
First The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
Second High ethical standards in business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
Third The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;
Fourth The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.

ROTARIAN CODE Of CONDUCT

The following code of conduct has been adopted for the use of Rotarians:

As a Rotarian,

1. I will act with integrity and high ethical standards in my personal and professional life.

2. Deal fairly with others and treat them and their occupations with respect.

3. Use my professional skills through Rotary to: mentor young people, help those with special needs, and improve people's quality of life in my community and in the world.

4. Avoid behavior that reflects adversely on Rotary or other Rotarians.

5. Help maintain a harassment-free environment in Rotary meetings, events, and activities, report any suspected harassment, and help ensure non-retaliation to those individuals that report harassment.

THE FOUR-WAY TEST
Of the things we think, say, or do:
1. Is it the truth?
2. Is it fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

There is a Rotary Club in nearly every city in the world. We are united for philanthropy. Ask someone to join us.
