YOUR VOTE IS REQUIRED BY THIS SATURDAY, AUGUST 15TH:
We have prepared new documents which have been approved by the Board. Now, we need all members of Plymouth Rotary to agree so we can then adopt those documents as our legal documents for conducting Club business.
A recent email was sent with documents. You can also log into My ClubRunner and access Documents to see three documents for review:
Constitution – FINAL
By Laws 6-23-20
Schedule of Charges
Please review and vote your approval by emailing Steve Beachler at Wicket2885@gmail.com.
ROTARY PROJECT: One of the Club’s Annual Fundraiser was Ducks on Parade. It was held at the Hilde Performance Center following Plymouth on Parade. Numbered plastic Ducks would be sent down a wood sluice into the pond, then two Rotarians in a small row boat would “fish” them out of the pond in random order to determine prize winners from those who had “leased” a duck/s for the Duck Race. We now want to dismantle the sluice and recover the lumber.
Do you know a worthy non-profit which might need for some lumber? Mostly 2 by 4’s and plywood. Please call Steve Beachler at 763-473-3069 or 612-701-5510.
We need a few Rotarians and a couple of trucks to travel to Peter’s cabin to dismantle the lumber and donate the material to a non-profit.
The Mission Nursing Home in Plymouth needs shoes, either lace up or slip-on with rubber soles, new or gently used, men's shoes. Please no dress shoes or boots. Mission would enjoy receiving books, too. Mystery stories, magazines and other reading materials would be appreciated. Please contact Carol Parrish at cjparrish1029@msn.com or 952-334-5417
Heart Safe Plymouth has help train folks to properly use hands-only CPR and AED, automated external defibrillator, for several years. Thank you to the club members Russ Carlson, Don Weber, Norm Okerstrom, Steve Marti and Steve Beachler who have coordinated this project. Plymouth MN Rotary is proud to support. Pending state guidelines, we will announce new training sessions when allowed.
Our Brewfest fundraiser that raises funds for Heart Safe is looking ahead for 2021.
Quarterly club invoices are emailed. Please review and submit payment to the club's P.O. box address. If you have questions, please reply on the email or call a board member for assistance.
