We had our club assembly today after our Board Meeting. The Club approved the leadership team shown below and passed the following actions:
1) We agreed dues should be increased by $5.00 per quarter. Dues will now be $75.00 per quarter.
2) It was agreed that a rent reduction should be sought, and in that context we will re-examine the dues amount if there is a reduction in PCC rent.
3) We agreed to correct formatting in the Constitution and ByLaws and reexamine them as needed in the next term only if needed. Please contact Steve Beachler
4) The Schedule of Charges was examined and amended to a meal charge of $15.00 per lunch. We also agreed to delete any pay as you go charges, which is how we have been operating since the first quarter this year.
5) We agreed to participate in Plymouth on Parade again this year and do our annual fundraiser then. Jim Crenna has the papers ready for the City for that now. It was noted that we need to get our sponsors lined up now as there are only 90 days between now and then.
6) We agreed to have a social event where we all attend Music in Plymouth as a group, wearing our Rotary gear if we have any. We anticipate people will have their families and friends who can then meet our club as well. James and Ben will coordinate the effort and may seek an anticipated attendance number so they have a large enough tarp out for us.
7) Ben has been gathering the orders for Rotary windbreakers, hats and shirts. We expected more people ordering than have come in so far. Please e-mail your order to BRischall@yahoo.com before July 1, 2023 so Ben can send it in. We hope to have the gear in hand by the time of the Plymouth on Parade event.
8) It should be noted for the record that our club has recovered from the pandemic in many ways. We are back to our usual meeting format and events. We are not recovered in our membership numbers. We still need you to recruit new members. As they say, many hands makes the work lighter. Please recruit your neighbor, work colleagues or your in-laws.

Thanks to all for another great year. At the next meeting I will be a past president. James will be leading us and I will just be keeping old unclassified ice fishing equipment in my garage for our next Hook Line and Sinker party.

Please remember that it is each club member's duty to bring a speaker or two each year. We are now dividing into quarterly teams for this purpose. More information will be distributed soon. We also will be requiring a volunteer for Club Secretary to manage the bulletins and the speakers when our new administration begins.
Do you, or someone you know, ever find yourself thinking: "Gee I wish I could give a scholarship to deserving High School students, but I want to make the gift out of funds or in such a way that I need a 501 (c) 3 type foundation to do it and sustain it?"

If that is you, please think of the Rotary Club of Plymouth MN in that moment! Rotary can make that reality for you.

This is a great way to assure high quality students get the education to make the world a better place into the future. You can fund it once or you could set up an annuity in your estate plan to fund it for an extended period of time, even indefinitely, if that is what you plan to give. Talk to one of our attorneys and one of our investment advisors, or your own professionals, if you need more information. You will not regret it and the world will be better for it.
We now have invitation cards for our members to invite friends and colleagues to come and hear our great speakers. Please grab a couple, fill them out and give them to your friends, relatives and colleagues. This will be a lot less work, a lot more fun and a lot better for Plymouth if we have a lot more members. We must all do our part now in recruiting.
WHAT IS ROTARY ABOUT?
THE OBJECT OF ROTARY
The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
First The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
Second High ethical standards in business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
Third The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;
Fourth The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.

ROTARIAN CODE Of CONDUCT

The following code of conduct has been adopted for the use of Rotarians:

As a Rotarian,

1. I will act with integrity and high ethical standards in my personal and professional life.

2. Deal fairly with others and treat them and their occupations with respect.

3. Use my professional skills through Rotary to: mentor young people, help those with special needs, and improve people's quality of life in my community and in the world.

4. Avoid behavior that reflects adversely on Rotary or other Rotarians.

5. Help maintain a harassment-free environment in Rotary meetings, events, and activities, report any suspected harassment, and help ensure non-retaliation to those individuals that report harassment.

THE FOUR-WAY TEST
Of the things we think, say, or do:
1. Is it the truth?
2. Is it fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
