IN-PERSON MEETINGS: Comfort Inn in Plymouth (3000 Harbor Lane N., Plymouth) will be the site of the Thursday, May 13th and Thursday, June 10th meetings. Social distancing and masks (indoors) are required. The virtual platform will still be available, too.
HIGWAY CLEAN UP: Jim Crenna suggested we get a date schedule for the adopt-a-highway this spring season. A future Saturday morning would be best. Blocked Saturdays are 5/15 and 5/29. Let Jim know if you're available. A few teams will make light work.
The following is from Jeff Pearson: Abby Pearson successfully ran into the frigid waters of Lake Riley in Eden Prairie last Saturday morning (April 24th). Unfortunately, her father was unable to photograph this year's exploit due to social distancing guidelines. I was unable to even attend and help her out of the water. But her mother, Ellen, did all the chores necessary to keep Abby safe and warm (eventually). Thank you to all of you contributors to the Special Olympics Minnesota and Abby's team, the Western Wings! Abby would not nearly have the success at the annual fundraiser without the generous people of the Plymouth Rotary! Sincerely, Jeff Pearson
