Health Benefits of Volunteering.

In addition to helping organizations you care about and the people they serve, volunteering can also have key health benefits for you.  Here are six ways volunteering can improve your health:

1.  Decreased risk of depression especial for people 65 and older

2. Increased sense of life purpose and meaning

3. Reduced isolation through meeting others and developing new relationships

4. Better overall health, especially for people 60 and older

5. Decreased pain intensity

6. Increased life expectancy

Please contact Bruce Behm with any questions on how to give and where to give at 763-550-9000.

  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned.

Thank you to everyone that participates in the meetings.
